Bernt Stellander, Master Designer of Profound, has pushed the envelope of forgiveness in a single piece steel club head. Probably a WORLD RECORD MOI (Moment of Inertia or resistance to twisting on off centre hits) of 5462 g/cm2, an unprecedented achievement. The result of this achievement? Our putters are more than 60% more forgiving than the top-selling putter of the last few years.

The Dark Ace does not twist open or close, even when you're way off the centre at impact. The ball still goes straight, if the face is square.

We have no insert on our putter faces since feedback is such a significant part of putting. Putting Instruments™ like ours are highly technical, profoundly developed tools for professionals as well as weekend golfers, looking for an edge and an advantage.

Pure Steel gives the clearest sound at impact. Without dampening inserts in the face the feedback is pure. However, unwanted vibrations still occur, even on perfectly milled putters. We did what no has done before. We have the insert BEHIND the face, acting as a vibration dampening device, leaving a sweet feel off the face, but not distorting the important audio feedback at impact.
